Synopsis
This collection of poetry and prose is born of countless interactions between therapist and client. Where I meets thou, in the space between. In that moment of contact we may explore love and loss, responsibility and isolation, grief, sadness and everything in between. These pieces are an attempt to capture some of my experience, and those shared by my clients. In trying to comprehend what is often incomprehensible; Poetry offers the possibility to explore abstract concepts and powerful emotions, whilst retaining connection to the self.

Exploring our social norms and religious behaviours from the perspective of existential and Gestalt Psychotherapy. It is in turn challenging and revelatory in its frank exploration of concepts such as death, isolation, freedom, will, meaning, personal responsibility, shame, and guilt.
